  • Payment details (including card or bank information for transfers and direct debits)
  • Transaction data (including details about payments to and from you and details of products and services you have purchased)
  • Usage data (including information about how you interact with and use our website, products and services)
  • Digital assets provided by the client in order to provide our services.

Lawful bases and data protection rights

  • Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. You can request other information such as details about where we get personal information from and who we share personal information with. There are some exemptions which means you may not receive all the information you ask for.
  • Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to correct or delete personal information you think is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to delete your personal information.
  • Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to limit how we can use your personal information.
  • Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.
  • Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you.
  • Your right to withdraw consent - When we use consent as our lawful basis you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

If you make a request, we must respond to you without undue delay and in any event within one month.

Our lawful bases for the collection and use of your data

Our lawful bases for collecting or using personal information to provide and improve products and services for clients are:

  • Consent - we have permission from you after we gave you all the relevant information. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to object. To be clear, you do have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Contract – we have to collect or use the information so we can enter into or carry out a contract with you. All of your data protection rights may apply except the right to object.
  • Legitimate interests – we're collecting or using your information because it benefits you, our organisation or someone else, without causing an undue risk of harm to anyone. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to portability. Our legitimate interests are:
    • We collect information to carry out our work relating to software development, including names, addresses, emails or telephone numbers, to implement into the final product where appropriate. For example, a website project may contain a contact page, enabling client outreach. To minimise the risk of exposing the data to the public, only the data requested by the client to be published will be published.

All data will be disposed through either secure digital deletion software, or by incineration.

This data processor does the following activities for us: Manage our payment systems, for customer transactions.

DigitalOcean

This data processor does the following activities for us: Manage any databases or client servers which are needed for the deployment of our artefacts.

NetCup GmbH

This data processor does the following activities for us: Manage X1 Labs' personal server infrastructure, including services for contract storage, note-taking regarding client contracts and user data for X1 Labs in-house services.

Soverin B.V

This data processor does the following activities for us: Store and process any email-based communication for X1 Labs.

Proton AG.

This data processor does the following activities for us: Holds encrypted backups of invoices, receipts and contracts handled by X1 Labs.

SmallPdf AG.

This data processor does the following activities for us: Holds contracts requiring E-Signatures, manages E-Signatures provided by clients via the Sign.com platform.

GitHub (Microsoft Corporation)

This data processor does the following activities for us: Host version-controlled source code and project repositories for X1 Labs, including client project repositories where applicable.

Anthropic, PBC

This data processor does the following activities for us: Provide AI-assisted tooling and services used in the delivery of X1 Labs' software development and research activities, which may involve processing data inputs provided by clients.

Google LLC

This data processor does the following activities for us: Distribute and manage our Android application(s) via the Google Play Store, including app hosting, distribution and updates, billing for in-app purchases where applicable, and providing app performance, crash and usage diagnostics.

Others we share personal information with

  • Professional or legal advisors
  • Publicly on our website, social media or other marketing and information media
  • Suppliers and service providers

Sharing information outside the UK

Where necessary, we may transfer personal information outside of the UK. When doing so, we comply with the UK GDPR, making sure appropriate safeguards are in place.
